Responsive, the company formerly known as RFPio, doesn't publish its pricing, and that single fact drives most of the searches for alternatives: people want a number before they'll book a demo, and they can't find one.
Why Responsive's pricing is hard to pin down
Responsive sells into large enterprises, and enterprise RFP software almost always follows the same script: you fill out a form, someone from sales calls you back, and the number you get depends on seat count, modules, and how good you are at negotiating. That's not unusual in this category. It's just annoying if you're a mid-size team trying to figure out whether this is a 500 pound problem or a 50,000 pound one.
The knock-on effect is that a lot of the searching people do for 'Responsive pricing' or 'RFPio cost' isn't really about Responsive specifically. It's about wanting a category that behaves like normal software: a page with a price on it, so you can decide for yourself instead of sitting through a discovery call to find out you're not even the right size customer.
No public price
Responsive quotes per seat after a sales call, so a list price is hard to find.
What buyers actually say in reviews
We won't pretend to quote specific review scores here, we haven't run that research and won't invent numbers. But the general shape of the conversation around Responsive is consistent with most established enterprise RFP tools: the AI drafting and content library get credit for saving time on large, complex responses, and the friction shows up around implementation, content curation, and how much admin work it takes to keep the answer library current.
That trade off makes sense for a genuinely enterprise buyer with a dedicated proposal team and time to run a proper rollout. It makes less sense for a 20 to 80 person company that just needs answers drafted from what they already know, with sources attached, without a six week onboarding project first.
Airprose pricing, no sales call required
Airprose publishes three plans: Base at 149 pounds a month, Growth at 399, and Scale at 849. Every plan includes unlimited users, which matters if your RFP responses touch security, legal, sales, and product, because you're not paying per seat to loop those people in.
You can start free with no card required. That's the whole point: you should be able to try the actual product on your actual content before anyone talks price with you, not after.

What Airprose doesn't have yet
Being fair to you means saying this plainly: Airprose does not currently hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification. Your data is stored in the UK with per-tenant isolation and isn't used to train shared AI models, but if a formal cert is a hard requirement for your security review, check that before you build a workflow around us. We'd rather you find that out here than three weeks into a trial.
How to actually compare Responsive, Loopio and Airprose
Ignore the marketing pages for a minute and check three things directly. First, does the tool show you where each drafted answer came from, or does it just hand you text and expect trust. Second, can you get into the product and draft a real answer today, or does 'get started' mean 'talk to sales.' Third, is the pricing scoped to how a normal team actually works, unlimited users included, or does every extra reviewer cost you another seat.
Loopio and Responsive both compete well on breadth of features for large proposal teams. Where Airprose tends to win the conversation is speed to first draft and a pricing page you can read in thirty seconds without giving anyone your phone number.

Common questions
Straight answers.
Yes. RFPio rebranded to Responsive a few years ago. Same product lineage, new name.
Responsive doesn't publish pricing publicly. You go through a demo and sales process to get a quote, which is standard for enterprise RFP software but frustrating if you just want a number to compare.
Loopio, like Responsive, tends to sell on custom enterprise quotes. Airprose publishes fixed monthly plans at 149, 399 and 849 pounds with unlimited users on every tier, so you can compare cost without a sales call. See our fuller Loopio comparison for feature by feature detail.
Yes. You can start free with no card required and draft against your own content before deciding on a plan.
Not yet. We say that plainly rather than gloss over it. Data is stored in the UK with per-tenant isolation and is never used to train shared models, but if you need a formal certification on file today, confirm that's compatible with your review process first.
